Dear First State Bank Customer,

It has been brought to our attention that some customers have received automated phone calls, even on their cell phones, saying that their debit card has been compromised due to criminal activity and that the card will be closed. The caller may request that you call a number or press a number to continue the call. If you receive one of these automated calls, it is not First State Bank calling and you should not continue with the call or give out any information. Simply hang up the phone. This is most likely a fraudster phishing for debit card numbers . First State Bank’s database has not been compromised!We have learned that it is not just First State Bank customers that are receiving these phone calls; it is other financial institutions as well.

A call from First State Bank will NEVER be automated – a representative from either our Noble or Norman locations will personally contact you. We will also NOT ask you for your debit card number; if we are calling you, we already know that.
